Online therapy
Can online therapy still feel personal?
A screen does not automatically make therapy distant. Privacy, consistency, and the relationship we build matter much more.

It is normal to wonder whether online therapy will feel awkward or impersonal. For many people, that concern fades once the conversation begins. You still have a full, protected hour to slow down and speak honestly.
Online sessions can also make regular therapy more realistic. There is no commute, and you can join from a familiar place. That can be especially helpful if you live outside Lebanon, travel often, or have a schedule that makes getting to a clinic difficult.
Give yourself a little privacy
Choose a place where you can speak without being overheard. Headphones help. So does closing the door and giving yourself five quiet minutes before the call instead of rushing in from another task.
If home does not feel private enough, we can think together about another setting that might work better. The goal is not a picture-perfect background. It is a space where you can speak freely.
Choose the format you can return to
Some people feel more present in person. Others relax more easily from home. There is no universally better choice. The useful option is the one that feels safe, practical, and consistent for you.
If you are unsure, send me a message. We can use a short consultation to talk through the options before you decide.
